The Fingerguard is a safety device, with needle notch, which click-fits into the Disposal Safe's lid. Shaped like a shallow funnel it has a number separate, flexible 'fronds' and a centered opening to allow easy disposal of sharps and, at the same time restricting easy access into the Disposal Safe itself. The Fingerguard / Final Closure system has been designed by IDC development team in conjunction with health care professionals. The 125mm Fingerguard fits Sharps Containers RE10LS 12.5 Litre (square), RE15LS 17.5 Litre (square) and RE20LR 23 Litre (round)
