The Fingerguard is a safety device, with needle notch, which click-fits into the Disposal Safe's lid. Shaped like a shallow funnel it has a number separate, flexible 'fronds' and a centered opening to allow easy disposal of sharps and, at the same time restricting easy access into the Disposal Safe itself. The Fingerguard / Final Closure system has been designed by IDC development team in conjunction with health care professionals. The 90mm Fingerguard fits Sharps Containers RE2LS 2 Litre (square), RE4LS 4.5 Litre (square) and RE4LR 4.5 Litre (round).
