The Sterling Preparatory Shaver for Clinical use

The Sterling shaver/trimmer is fitted with a blade set which has been specifically designed for patient preparation prior to surgery.

The blade is easily removed for cleaning and/or sterilisation by using both thumbs, pushing THE TOP OF THE BLADE out of the shaver casing. To re-install the blade simply reverse this procedure.

The blades are made of surgical grade stainless steel. Recommended, preferred sterilisation can be effected by DRY METHOD although AUTOCLAVING or alcohol may be used. After sterilisation; always lubricate blades and blade springs with the fine lubricant supplied, using a smidgen only.

Each Sterling 2 shaver/trimmer is supplied with one blade, a battery recharging stand with indicator lights and power supply which plugs straight into a standard 220-240 volt power point.

Although the Sterling 2 will give up to 45 minutes continuous operation it is advisable to always recharge the unit immediately after each use, irrespective of the duration.

To use:
Hold the shaver/trimmer with the BLADE POINTING DOWN at a 'close to 90 degree angle' to the area to be prepared pulling gently in the direction shown in the illustration.

QUICK 'N EASY TOOL FOR CLEANING AND BLADE REMOVAL
It's a fact ... Blades stay sharp longer when clean!

1) With the blade in place, insert the pointed end of the tool in the small space between the blades. 2) Slide the tool between the two blades about 3 times; wiping excess hair of the tool after each pass.

The tool can also be used to remove the blade from the shaver. Use like a bottle cap remover.
